Instructions

Lacuna consists of two types of level and two type of game play. Author mode and puzzlemode.

Author Mode

• Letters levels: Move letter tiles next to each other to form words. Once a word is formed it will vibrate. Click on vibrating words to remove them from the board and score points.
• Fruits levels: Move four (or more) fruit tiles next to each other and they will vibrate. Click again the remove them from the board.

You can complete a level in two ways

• You manage to remove all the tiles from the board.
• Get to a state where no more tiles can be removed.

If the board fills up with tiles then the game is over.

Once you have completed the level you move onto the next one.

Complete four levels and you will complete a book. Complete all eight books to complete the game.

Puzzle Mode

Game play in puzzle mode is similar to Author mode. Except here no new tiles appear and the goal is to remove ALL tiles from the board.

Types of tile

Tiles in each mode (letters or fruits) come in various types:

• Normal tiles.
• Blocked tiles. These have a grey tinge and cannot be moved. Form a word including them to remove them from the screen.
• Double/triple/quadruple word score tiles. Use these tiles in a word to score ouble/triple/quadruple points. In uathor mode using these tiles will also give you extra tile till the next tile appears.
